The Lehigh Math Circle is a group for middle and high school students in the Lehigh Valley area who enjoy mathematics and would like to be exposed to new concepts, ideas, and puzzles.
The Lehigh Math Circle meets in Rothrock Library, Lehigh Carbon Community College, Schnecksville Campus.
The Lehigh Math Circle was formed in May 2014. A group of students wanting to discuss, learn, and teach interesting topics in mathematics, came together and met regularly at Muhlenberg College in an informal way. When some junior students joined the group, we organized teaching sessions.
The primary objectives of our group, which is open to middle and high school students, are:
1) to expose students to the beauty of mathematics;
2) to enhance mathematical skills of students from an early age; and
3) to discuss advanced topics of mathematics.
